Weyakwin Evacuation Support

Evacuation date:  May 28- June 5, 2025

If you were evacuated from Weyakwin due to wildfire, there is support available to you. Please see below to find out what support you are qualified for. 

Emergency Financial Support

If you are a Weyakwin resident and were over the age of 18 on June 20, 2025, you will receive $500 in emergency financial assistance.

Update: The community of Weyakwin has received these funds and will be distributing them. Please contact community leadership for information on how to receive these funds. 

Food Support

Weyakwin evacuees are being supported by community. If you need evacuation support, please contact community leadership or call the SK Wildfire Inquiry line at 1-855-559-5502, available Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
