Crews will patrol and begin to demobilize the area around the communications tower. HWY 165 will have crews working to extinguish the perimeter with hose lay. Crews will work in the helipad 55 area to contain perimeter with heavy equipment and hose lay. Helicopters will support HWY 165 with crews and demobilize helipad 52.

For areas near lakes - Chance of a lake breeze, increasing wind speeds and causing wind direction to shift.
Impacts Values Lost. Closure of bridge at Clam Crossing (Highway 935). 

Heavy equipment will finish up guards around Grandmother’s Bay and crews will continue cutting pads around the excursion on Division K. Division A will be monitored using MODIS hotspots and the occasional patrol. Hotspots will be monitored and identified from the scan in Division E..

Impacts Values lost in Denare Beach.

The Wolf Fire is currently 90% contained with crews continuing mop up in Division A. Once crews complete tasks and are assigned helicopter spots, they will be transported to Division B. Crews will action hot spots visible from the community of Denare Beach via boat. Heavy equipment will be on standby at Mari Lake Road. Resources will be deployed from Pelican Narrows as required.

Crews and heavy equipment will continue to work south of Weyakwin along southern flank extinguishing hotspots. Crews will work in the are of helipad 18 from established pump location eastward, extinguishing hotspots. Crews will also work in the area of the southernmost hotspots to prevent further extension, connecting to water sources with pump and hose.

Impacts Values lost. Closure of Highway 918 and Highway 165 from JCT 155 to JCT 914

The majority of the focus remains on key areas near HWY’s 165, 918 and at the Beauval junction. Structure protection and contingency planning for communities is expected to be completed by the end of day, July 16. Crews continue work on the west flank, assisted by air tanker support, and maintain values protection.

Impacts Closure to Highway 916, Fire has entered into the northeast corner of the Prince Albert National Park
Crews continue working on the north flank along new dozer guard. Another crew continues to maintain values protection. Heavy equipment continues to finish dozer guard off of Rock Lake Road, working north and east of Rock Lake road, towards Wanner Lake. Crews will also work east and west along the fire’s edge off of Leadley Lake Road. Dozer guard construction continues off of HWY 2.
