Stanley Mission Evacuation Support

Evacuation date:  June 4 – June 12, 2025

If you were evacuated from Stanley Mission due to wildfire, there is support available to you. Please see below to find out what support you are qualified for.  

Emergency Financial Support

If you are a Stanley Mission resident and were over the age of 18 on June 20, 2025, you will receive $500 in emergency financial assistance. These funds are to be distributed by the Lac La Ronge Indian Band. Please contact Lac La Ronge Indian Band for information on how to receive these funds.   

Food Support

Stanley Mission is supported by the Canadian Red Cross. The Canadian Red Cross is operating reception centres in Saskatoon and Prince Albert. Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation and Lac La Ronge Indian Band community members who are still evacuated can reach the Canadian Red Cross by calling 1-800-863-6582, between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. daily, or by visiting www.redcross.ca/2025SaskatchewanWildfires for more information.

If you are eligible for the food security support but have not received funds, please call the SK Wildfire Inquiry line at 1-855-559-5502, available Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. 

Additional Support

Lac La Ronge Indian Band members may have additional community supports available. Reach out to your community leadership for more information.
