FPW Poster Contest

Sparky the Fire Dog promoting fire safety with lithium-ion batteries, holding a house model for this year's Fire Prevention Week.
Eligibility
  • This contest is open to all students in Grades 3 to 8 across Saskatchewan.
Rules
  • Posters must be Lithium-ion battery safety themed
  • Posters must be drawn by hand
Timeline
  • Launch: Schools and teachers will be notified the week of September 16, 2025 (in collaboration with the Ministry of Education).
  • Deadline: All entries must be received by Friday, October 31, 2025.
  • Winners Announced: The week of November 7, 2025.

Prizes
  • One winner will be selected from each Grade level (3 to 8).
  • Winning posters will be featured on the SPSA's website and Facebook page.
  • Posters may also be framed and sent to the winner’s local fire department for display.
  • Additional prizes have an estimated value of $120 per grade winner.
