Canoe Lake Evacuation Support

Evacuation date:  May 27 – May 30, 2025

If you were evacuated from Canoe Lake Cree First Nation due to wildfire, there is support available to you. Please see below to find out what support you are qualified for.

Emergency Financial Support

If you are a Canoe Lake resident and were over the age of 18 on June 20, 2025, you will receive $500 in emergency financial assistance.

Update: Canoe Lake Cree First Nation has received these funds and will be distributing them. For more information on how to receive your payment, please reach out to your community leadership.

Food Support

Canoe Lake Cree First Nation evacuees were being supported by the community. If you need evacuation support, please contact community leadership or call the SK Wildfire Inquiry line at 1-855-559-5502, available Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
