Little Bear Lake Evacuation Support
Evacuation date: May 23 – June 11, 2025
If you were evacuated from Little Bear Lake, Moose Horn subdivision due to wildfire, there is support available to you. Please see below to find out what support you are qualified for.Emergency Financial Support
If you are a Little Bear Lake, Moose Horn subdivision resident and were over the age of 18 on June 20, 2025, you will receive $500 in emergency financial assistance. The SPSA is working with the community leadership to distribute these funds. More information on how to receive your payment will be available shortly.
Food Support
If you stayed at an SPSA hotel evacuation site or a Canadian Red Cross evacuation site, you do not qualify for food support.
If you are a Little Bear Lake, Moose Horn subdivision resident registered with the SPSA, and did not stay at an SPSA or Canadian Red Cross evacuation site, you may qualify for $40 per day (for head of household) and $20 per day for family members (a maximum of $200 per day per family) in food support.
These funds will be retroactive for each day you were evacuated (May 23 – June 11).
