Air Ronge Evacuation Support

Evacuation date:  June 2 – June 12, 2025

If you were evacuated from Air Ronge due to wildfire, there is support available to you. Please see below to find out what support you are qualified for. 

Emergency Financial Support

If you are an Air Ronge resident and were over the age of 18 on June 20, 2025, you will receive $500 in Emergency Financial Assistance. These funds will be distributed by the Northern Village of Air Ronge.

Food Support

If you stayed at an SPSA hotel evacuation site or a Canadian Red Cross evacuation site, you do not qualify for food support. 

If you are an Air Ronge resident registered with the SPSA, and did not stay at an SPSA or Canadian Red Cross evacuation site you also qualify for $40 per day (for head of household) and $20 per day for family members (a maximum of $200 per day per family) in food support. 

These funds will be retroactive for each day you were evacuated (June 2 – June 12).

If you are eligible for the food security support but have not received funds, please call the SK Wildfire Inquiry line at 1-855-559-5502, available daily between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. 

Additional Support

If you are a member of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band, additional community supports may be available. Reach out to your community leadership for more information.
